After opening its first Indonesian property, DoubleTree by Hilton opened a newly renovated, 219-room hotel in Portland, Maine. The DoubleTree by Hilton Portland Maine is situated directly off the Maine Turnpike, two miles from the Portland International Jetport (PWM) and directly across from The Maine Mall.

Formerly a Wyndham Hotel, the DoubleTree by Hilton Portland Maine is celebrating its new affiliation with a variety of new product, service and design enhancements both inside and outside the property resulting in a facelift of the towers; newly redesigned guestrooms and public spaces; a reinvented dining experience at the Blue Wave Grill restaurant; and an extensive environmental upgrade of the hotel’s storm water treatment system to further preserve the city’s Long Creek watershed.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Portland Maine features 13,000 square feet of flexible conference space for business meetings, banquets and elegant social events, including the 5,280-square-foot Lighthouse Ballroom, which can accommodate up to 550 guests theater style. The hotel offers a newly designed 24-hour self-service business center and complimentary printing service. A newly redesigned 24-hour fitness facility with an indoor, heated swimming pool is available.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Portland Maine also has added Executive Floor accommodations with an exclusive lounge that provides complimentary soft drinks, morning continental breakfast and evening hors d'oeuvres as well as upgraded amenities and services. The hotel is owned by VanEastland, LLC and operated under a franchise license agreement with a subsidiary of Hilton Worldwide.
